⚠️ Heads Up: This Affects Your Live Site This install adds the new template pages directly into your existing Squarespace site. That means: Your current live site stays up and untouched (we don’t delete anything). Your new pages will live in the Unlinked section until you're ready to swap them in. If your site is already live, any changes to site styles can affect the look of your live pages. To avoid any weird in-between moments, we recommend putting up an Under Construction page. It gives you space to edit and preview your new site without anyone catching it mid-edit. If that’s already handled — or you don’t need one — great. If not, please create an under construction landing page. Link above if you need help!

Site Styles

When we install your template, we can either: A. Keep your current site styles (fonts, colors, buttons, etc.) exactly as they are B. Replace them with the styles from your new template There’s no wrong answer — it just depends on whether you want to keep your current fonts and colors in place or start with the template branding. If you choose B, your live site will take on the new site styles. This is why an under construction page may be helpful.

Add Us to Your Website

Last step! Add us as a contributor to the 7.1 site where you want the new template installed. Here’s how: Settings > Permissions > Invite Contributor > hello@templatetown.co Make sure to set us as Administrator so we can do the install. Once you’ve sent the invite, you’ll see our name in the sidebar and get an Invitation Link. Paste that link below so we can get in:
